YAY for birthday celebrations! ... NOT!

Woke up around 10am to Ang telling me she had breakfast ready for me at one of her friends house.. it was delish! fruit and pancakes and champagne! never had that before.. we all got ready then off to the races around 2... met up with pat and the rest of the gang.. watch a race or two.. horses are magnificent! then back home for some dinner before a night out in the pub! This is where I received a nice surprise!! an mp3 player with music from Pat and Dani! (I've always loved their music and they put it in there! ) I had great music.. a great new haircut.. a cute outfit and people who seemed interested in celebrating with me! yay let's go out and have fun! ... or so I thought.. for starters people were already drunk beyond measure at 6pm and didn't want to come out just stay in and drink some more.. but Heidi from Minnesota hardly ever goes out and wanted to celebrate my birthday with me and of course Dani ... (all I really wanted to do is dance!! and chit chat and have a few drinks for my 22nd) I did her makeup and hair and were ready to go! but it was just three girls and Luke... hardly a party started..but we were optimistic and thought we'd meet with people there.. nope.. all pubs were closed earlier than usual due to the overflow of people.. It was a little upseting to say the least... I just know back home I would be going out to BJs with dog and megs and jenny and having a nice time while here I feel a little lonely.... no worries though... I have the outback coming up here soon and it's going to be heaps of fun! toodles!

Hello!
I just realized it has been over two weeks since I posted anything! Well let me bring you up to speed.. The last two weeks I've had a huge Lesson Plan to make, a creative journal assignment in which I made the hat, a Resource Folder, a 10 page paper on how to handle stress! Ironic I know.. a PE Lesson to present to my peers AND a Drama performance in which I HAND MADE A MONSTER!! check it out!! Plus I also cut my hair, bought a cute dress for Race day tomorrow since that's also when we are celebrating my birthday but of course it had to rain today!! after a week of gorgeous hot weather.. it decided to be mean and pour on us.... To top it off though.. MY CAMERA WONT WORK!! !:( The lens doesn't want to come out.... I'm going to see about cleaning it, maybe something is stuck? needs oil? I have no idea but OF COURSE IT HAD TO HAPPEN TODAY!! they day I get my hair cut .. a day before my birthday party and the week before I head out to the OUTBACK!!!!!!!!!! what are the odds?!?!? Unfortunately I can't upload any pics of my hair cut but just to clue you in I cut off 15 inches.. :0 yeah... pretty intense! I'm looking into just buying 10 disposable cameras to take pictures the next week or so until I can figure out what to do with camera issues.. Until Next time!

The Night Ang Fell

Hey!
It's late I know but I just had an awesome night with ALL the flatmates! Ang had a trip down the mountain and hurt her knees so decided to stay home vs going to the bar and thought to bring the party to the dorm! we were dancing the night away! Needless to say she had a few drinks and tried to get us to do the same BUT we all agreed to pull a small little trick. Switched the bottle of vodka for water.. yup.. so she just thought we were drinking the night away with her but really we were just keeping hydrated :) it was fun none the less though!!! and now.. tired and off to bed.. FINALLY pics of the whole house!!

Buenas Tardes!
Hey all! I had such a greeeeeeeeeat time today! My friends Violeta, from Mexico and Lira from Brazil cooked at the Fusion Festival! It was a cooking competition between Australia, Latin America, China, Japan and Korea.. yeah.. three Asian teams but they all had different cuisine! We decided to make enchiladas and a fruit salad with condensed milk.. yuuuumy.. three hours to make food for three judges AND 50 samples for the audience! All this in the middle of the plaza!! Of course it was all a little disorganized as far as utensils and how much to give each judge etc.. The Aussies were full on however.. incorporating fauna and beautiful plates... so they won but we got SECOND! :) (and everyone thought we should have won so that's what counts anyways) Here are some pics! Enjoy!! I sure did!

Well not much going on here... just finished the two biggest projects for the semester! I'm home free now! (give or take a few more small assignments here and there..no worries I'll keep up with my school work! Here's an example of what one of those projects was!
